The International Solar Alliance (ISA) launched its inaugural Green Hydrogen Innovation Centre (GHIC) training workshop, a significant milestone in the realm of green hydrogen development. The workshop, conducted from August 18 to 23, 2024, in collaboration with the Green Hydrogen Organisation (GH2) and Nile University, gathered officials from 14 countries to delve into the nuances of green hydrogen technologies, policies, and financing frameworks. Notable figures such as H.E. Eng. Sabah Mashaly, Dr. Mahmoud Mohieldin, Dr. Wael Akl, Lord Adair Turner, and Mr. Jonas Moberg graced the event, underlining the importance of this initiative. The training encompassed various topics, aiming to bolster participants' comprehension of green hydrogen's pivotal role in the global energy landscape and equipping them with the necessary tools to shape effective strategies. The positive feedback from attendees like Kyeyune Noah and Deeresh Bekaroo highlighted the workshop's efficacy in enhancing knowledge and potentially influencing national green hydrogen agendas.
