Green Hydrogen Systems (GHS) has successfully confirmed the reliability of its X-Series electrolyser prototype after completing phase one testing in Skive, Denmark. The module underwent technical proof of concept and third-party validation earlier this year, followed by over 250 hours of on-site monitored reliability and stability testing. This 6MW pressurised alkaline solution is designed for medium to large-scale hydrogen plants and projects. GHS is now able to release the X-Series product for binding contractual commitments based on a performance-based price structure. As the company engages with potential customers and prepares for order intake, they will also commence phase two prototype testing to further enhance technical and operational learnings. CEO Peter Friis expressed confidence in the product's reliability and readiness for commercial commitments. The X-Series electrolysers are expected to be the company's main revenue driver starting from 2025. The system's successful testing is attributed to its participation in the GreenHyScale project, which was supported by funding from the EU's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme. This accomplishment showcases GHS's dedication to advancing sustainable hydrogen production technologies.
