Amara Raja Infra has inaugurated India’s first hydrogen refuelling station in Leh, Ladakh, a landmark event supporting NTPC’s fuel cell-powered bus initiative. The station can distribute 80kg of green hydrogen daily, following two years of development amidst challenges. NTPC will utilize the facility to refuel five hydrogen buses as part of a trial, in line with Prime Minister Modi's vision for green hydrogen in public transportation. Modi emphasized global collaboration and scientific innovation to accelerate the green energy transition. The project signifies a significant step towards India's green mobility goals and sustainable future, showcasing cooperation between industry, government, and scientific experts.
