The Hydrogen Council has announced the appointment of Ivana Jemelkova as its new CEO, succeeding Daryl Wilson who resigned in 2023 due to health reasons. Jemelkova, a Czech national, brings a wealth of experience from her tenure at FTI Consulting, spanning industry, government, and nonprofit sectors. She has been involved in hydrogen-related work for almost 15 years and previously served as an advisor to the Council. Jemelkova is set to officially take up her role on June 3, 2024. The Council, under Daryl Wilson's guidance since 2020, saw a significant increase in its membership base, currently comprising nearly 150 key members. During the transition period, Steven Libbrecht and Daria Nochevnik assumed interim roles to ensure continuity.
