Hy2gen Canada Inc. has submitted the project notice for the COURANT renewable ammonia production plant project to Quebec's Minister of the Environment, marking the end of the planning stage. The project aims to produce 230,000 tons of renewable ammonia annually, targeting the decarbonization of the mining industry in Quebec. With construction scheduled to begin in 2027 and production in 2030, COURANT also strives to support the region's climate goals by reducing CO₂ emissions.
