Nu:ionic Technologies and XRG Technologies have jointly developed the Nu-X Smart Reformer, an emission-free reactor capable of producing low carbon 'Teal Hydrogen.' This innovative solution uses natural gas, renewable biogas, ammonia, or methanol as feedstock while eliminating combustion emissions from traditional heating processes. The Nu-X Smart Reformer aims to replace the steam methane reformer (SMR) with a more cost-effective, compact, and modular design, significantly reducing natural gas feedstock requirements and combustion emissions. The system, scalable to industrial production volumes, offers up to 20 tonnes per day hydrogen capacity with immediate availability. Nu:ionic Technologies' CEO highlighted the platform's ability to fulfill market demands for distributed, low-cost, and low-carbon hydrogen production. Similarly, XRG Technologies' CTO emphasized the journey towards revolutionizing the industry by introducing an efficient and environmentally friendly electric heater. Additionally, H2 View's Class of H2 provides hydrogen training modules to address the growing interest and investment in hydrogen technologies.
