Constellation Resources Limited has recently entered into a research agreement with CSIRO, Australia's national science agency, to explore the presence of natural helium and hydrogen reserves in Western Australia. The joint effort will initially focus on two basin-scale projects owned by Constellation. CSIRO scientists will analyze available datasets to detect the gas presence and support Constellation's upcoming soil and gas sampling activities planned for early 2025. The collaboration is partially funded by CSIRO's kick-start program aimed at supporting Australian start-ups with research capabilities. Following data assessment and sampling, CSIRO will develop prospectivity models to pinpoint areas with potential natural gas and helium reserves.
