INOCEL and Equans have announced a partnership to deliver hydrogen energy storage and generation solutions starting in 2025. This collaboration aims to provide a range of solutions, from 300kW to several megawatts, for various applications. INOCEL will contribute fuel cell technology for hydrogen generation, while Equans will focus on containerisation. The joint offerings will cater to customers needing complete hydrogen solutions for production, storage, and power generation. Applications include electrifying docks in ports, powering ships, storing renewable energy, and supporting power grid balancing. Additionally, emergency power generation for commercial and industrial infrastructures and mobile generators for off-grid sites are part of the partnership's scope. Both CEOs highlighted the importance of performance, cost-competitiveness, and decarbonization in their solutions. Jules Billiet, CEO of INOCEL, stressed the benefits for customers, while Jérôme Stubler, President of Equans, emphasized the key role of hydrogen in the energy transition for decarbonizing industry and mobility.
