By venturing into the clean energy sector, Pilot aims to establish itself as Australia's first blue ammonia producer. To address the emission challenges associated with ammonia production, Pilot plans to leverage its carbon storage facility to capture a significant portion of carbon dioxide emissions. Furthermore, Pilot is strategically planning to supply blue and eventually green hydrogen to Western Australia's energy grid, aligning with the state's efforts to reduce emissions and promote cleaner energy sources. The company's vision extends to the South Korean market, where it aims to offer hydrogen-ammonia, garnering interest from major energy players in the country. With support from the government, including the appointment of the State's first hydrogen minister in 2021, Pilot is well-positioned to navigate the clean energy landscape and drive profitable growth.
