Avaada GH2 Private Limited, a part of Avaada Group in India, has achieved a significant milestone by receiving pre-certification from TÜV Rheinland for their green hydrogen and ammonia production facility located in Gopalpur. The plant is designed to produce 0.5 million metric tons per annum (MMTPA) of green ammonia, catering to both domestic and international markets. This certification validates that Avaada's project complies with the necessary design criteria for the production, storage, and transportation of green hydrogen and ammonia, in line with the European Union's Renewable Energy Directive II (REDII) regulations, ensuring a climate-neutral production process. Vineet Mittal, the Chairman of Avaada Group, expressed pride in this achievement, underscoring the company's commitment to sustainability and adherence to rigorous EU standards. Benedikt Anselmann, the Regional Executive Vice President of TÜV Rheinland, and V Ravi Kumar, Vice President of Industrial Services at TÜV Rheinland India, also commended Avaada's dedication.
