The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) in India, led by Minister Pralhad Joshi, recently launched a Green Hydrogen certification scheme aimed at bolstering international trade relations with Japan and Singapore. The initiative involves multiple companies signing agreements to deliver 4.12 Lakh tonnes of Green Hydrogen derivatives to these countries, indicating a promising market for renewable energy products. The scheme is designed to offer a structured approach to measuring, monitoring, reporting, on-site verification, and certifying Green Hydrogen, ensuring transparency and adherence to quality standards.
