In February 2025, Sensirion's division, Qmicro, located in Stäfa, Switzerland, announced the achievement of the OIML R140/MID accuracy class A certification for their DynamiQ-X GC analyzers. These gas analyzers, tested by NMi in the Netherlands, are designed for the analysis of Natural Gas and natural gas blended with hydrogen. The certification simplifies the approval process for system integrators involved in gas composition control and custody transfer. It covers metrological characteristics evaluation over a wide temperature range and under dynamic environmental conditions. The software and firmware are also assessed for control, data processing, and communication. The certification brings benefits such as reduced risks, time savings, and cost efficiency to system integrators by aligning with national and international legislation among member states. It applies to both the DynamiQ-X NG2210 and NG2220 gas chromatographs, which cater to composition control and custody transfer purposes. The NG2210 version analyzes natural gas C6+ composition and calorific value, while the NG2220 focuses on natural gas blended with hydrogen up to 20% concentration.
