Adani Energy Solutions Ltd (AESL) has secured a significant power transmission project worth Rs 2,800 crore in Gujarat. This project is aimed at supplying green electrons for the production of Green Hydrogen and Green Ammonia at Mundra in Gujarat. The initiative, titled 'Transmission System for Green Hydrogen/Ammonia Manufacturing Potential in Mundra, Gujarat,' involves major upgrades to the Navinal electrical substation and the construction of a 75 km 765kV double-circuit line to link it to the Bhuj substation. By adding 150 cKM of transmission lines and 3,000 MVA of transformation capacity, AESL is expanding its transmission infrastructure significantly, reaching a total network of 25,928 cKM and 87,186 MVA. The company won this project through a competitive bidding process, further solidifying its position as India's largest private transmission company within the energy sector. Despite recent stock market performance declines, with shares falling 18% in the past year and 65% over the last three years, AESL's focus on green energy projects like this one showcases a commitment to sustainable energy solutions and long-term growth prospects.
