The Heilongjiang Jixian Wind-Storage-Hydrogen-Methanol Integration Project, led by Shuangyashan Hongzhan Biotechnology Co., Ltd., is making significant strides in advancing green energy production. With a total investment of 2.31 billion yuan, the project aims to utilize hydrogen generated from water electrolysis and carbon dioxide gas from fermentation to produce 130,000 mt of green methanol annually. The project has successfully completed its filing process and is progressing as planned towards operation. Additionally, CSSC Wind Power is initiating a similar project in Jixian County, with an investment of 10.8 billion yuan, to produce green hydrogen and green methanol using wind energy resources. These projects are set to bolster the new energy and chemical industries in the region, contributing to sustainability efforts and reducing carbon footprint. The projects signify a positive step towards a greener and more environmentally friendly future for Jixian County and Shuangyashan City.
