Ceres Power, a green hydrogen and fuel cell specialist based in London, has seen a surge in revenue guidance following the signing of a lucrative manufacturing contract with an Asian OEM. This partnership involves the manufacturing of Ceres's patented fuel cell technology in exchange for a license fee, expected to significantly boost the company's revenue. The firm now anticipates full-year earnings to range between £50m and £60m, with first-half revenue projected to more than double to £27m to £29m compared to the previous year. Additionally, margins are set to increase notably to 75-80% from 62% in the previous period, reflecting strong commercial advancements and the growing adoption of their innovative SOEC electrolyser technology by global leaders in the industry. CEO Phil Caldwell expressed enthusiasm for the progress made, particularly in the field of hydrogen decarbonisation, emphasizing partnerships with manufacturing-savvy regions to drive clean energy initiatives.
