Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) has acquired a majority stake in the Toqlukuti’k Wind & Hydrogen project located in Newfoundland & Labrador, Canada. The project, which encompasses onshore wind and hydrogen production, is set to generate competitive green hydrogen and ammonia due to exceptional wind resources and existing infrastructure. Backed by federal and provincial support, Toqlukuti’k is positioned as an attractive destination for investment to meet the rising European green energy demand. The project has garnered local support, signing a memorandum of understanding with Miawpukek First Nation and receiving endorsement from various communities.
