The Minister of New and Renewable Energy, Pralhad Joshi, highlighted the importance of integrating startups into the green hydrogen sector to introduce fresh ideas and involve the younger generation. He expressed these sentiments at the curtain raiser event for the 2nd International Conference on Green Hydrogen India 2024, scheduled to take place in Delhi from September 11-13, 2024. The conference aims to promote the green hydrogen mission and will host over 120 exhibitors showcasing products and technologies related to green hydrogen. Furthermore, the event will feature 150 national and international speakers, emphasizing knowledge sharing and collaboration. Notably, the government has allocated a substantial amount of Rs 19,744 crore towards the green hydrogen mission, underlining its commitment to promoting renewable energy sources. The conference will focus on regions like the European Union, Australia, Singapore, and the Netherlands, with sessions dedicated to exploring opportunities for collaboration. Organized by the Ministry of New & Renewable Energy in partnership with the Office of the Principal Scientists, Government of India, the event has garnered support from organizations like Ficci and the Solar Energy Corporation of India, highlighting a collective effort to drive innovation and growth in the green hydrogen sector.
