The championship's Season 3 Sustainability Report, conducted in collaboration with EY, showcased its carbon-neutral status and an 8.2% reduction in its overall carbon footprint. Extreme E achieved these milestones through the use of green hydrogen, solar energy, and innovative waste management methods. Moreover, Extreme E promotes female empowerment in motorsport by offering equal access to track time and performance development, leading to a 51% closure of the female to male performance gap in Season 3. The championship's initiatives also extend to youth development through the Racing for All program, which provides hands-on experience to young mechanical and engineering talents. This program, launched in 2022, has already seen more than half of the Extreme E grid supporting candidates within their teams, contributing to the growth of young professionals in the motorsport industry.
