Lhyfe, a leading producer of green and renewable hydrogen, has secured a substantial €149 million subsidy from the French government for its Green Horizon project. The project involves the construction of a green hydrogen production plant near Le Havre, with an anticipated daily capacity of up to 34 tonnes. This initiative is part of the French National Hydrogen Strategy and has been selected by the European Commission for its strategic importance in decarbonizing industrial activities. The project aims to supply green hydrogen to the industrial port area of Normandy, contributing significantly to regional decarbonization efforts.
