Greenstat Hydrogen India (GHI) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Norway-based H2Carrier to advance green hydrogen and ammonia projects in India and Sri Lanka. The partnership will focus on deploying H2Carrier's P2XFloater technology, the world's first floating green ammonia production facility, to address the need for clean energy in key sectors. GHI aims to accelerate the energy transition by delivering sustainable and scalable solutions, while H2Carrier looks forward to promoting green ammonia solutions in critical markets. The collaboration targets industrial decarbonization in sectors like shipping, agriculture, and heavy industries, meeting the rising demand for green ammonia as a clean fuel and energy carrier. Established in 2020, GHI focuses on investing in zero-emission solutions, and through this partnership, both companies aim to accelerate the global energy transition by advancing green hydrogen and ammonia technologies in South Asia.
