Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has announced the winners for its ambitious hydrogen energy projects, marking a significant step in India's green hydrogen revolution. SECI issued letters of award (LoA) to nine companies for setting up green hydrogen production facilities and availing incentives under the National Green Hydrogen Mission. The awarded annual production capacity is 450,000 MT, reflecting a substantial commitment to green hydrogen. Notable winners include Reliance Green Hydrogen and Green Chemicals, L&T Energy Green Tech, and Waaree Clean Energy Solutions. These companies emerged as the lowest bidders under Tranche II of Mode I, showcasing competitive pricing in the sector. The maximum allocated incentive for these projects totals Rs. 2,238.59 crore, emphasizing the financial support provided to boost green hydrogen initiatives.
