Indonesia is focusing on expanding its hydrogen production sector and establishing itself as a major exporter in the global market for cleaner energy solutions. In a collaborative effort with Japan, the two countries have agreed to work together on developing the ecosystem for hydrogen and ammonia. This partnership was formalized during the Hydrogen-Ammonia Development Acceleration Forum held in Jakarta, underscoring the shared commitment to advancing sustainable energy practices. By leveraging each other's expertise and resources, Indonesia and Japan aim to tap into the growing demand for hydrogen, positioning Indonesia as a key player in the renewable energy industry. The joint endeavors, backed by Indonesia's energy and mineral resources ministry and JICA, signify a significant step towards enhancing the hydrogen sector's capabilities and paving the way for a more sustainable future.
