INP Egypt and Germany’s Afrika-Verein have partnered with Master Point and the St. Regis Cairo Hotel to organize the 3rd International Green Hydrogen Exhibition and Conference in Cairo, titled “Hydrogen in Africa – Egypt.” Scheduled for 28-29 October, this conference marks its debut in Egypt after two successful editions in Germany. The event will bring together key stakeholders from government, private sector, and academia to explore advancements in green hydrogen and clean energy, with a focus on fostering partnerships across Africa and Europe.
Alaa Kamal of INP Egypt highlighted the significance of leveraging Africa's energy potential for clean hydrogen production and positioning the continent as a strategic green energy supplier to Europe. The choice of Egypt as the host country is attributed to its proactiveness in clean energy initiatives, investment-friendly policies, and strong ties with the EU.
Master Point's Chairperson, Mohamed Sweid, emphasized Egypt's goal to become a regional clean energy hub for exporting energy to Europe. Through collaborations with Afrika-Verein and INP Egypt, the conference aims to showcase Egypt's growing influence in the clean energy sector.
