The Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources in Jordan, Saleh Kharabsheh, recently assessed the progress of priority initiatives outlined in the Economic Modernization Vision (2023–2025) for the energy and mining sectors. The review included updates on petroleum exploration projects and efforts to expand natural gas distribution to industrial cities. Key initiatives discussed encompassed green hydrogen production, energy storage solutions at Mujib Dam, and exploration activities in regions like Risha, Jafr, Hamzah, and Sarhan. Minister Kharabsheh stressed the importance of monitoring ongoing projects slated for completion by 2025, with a focus on adherence to timelines and consistent progress towards the vision's objectives. He also emphasized the need for enhanced collaboration among liaison officers and stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of projects intended to improve Jordan's energy infrastructure and resource management within the specified timeframe.
