Progress includes successful gas delivery to regions like Al Qweira and Al Qastal, as well as the inauguration of a key station in Zarqa. Azzam highlighted the growth of green energy to 27% of the energy mix, showing Jordan's dedication to environmentally friendly sources. Plans for innovative energy storage projects, like the one at Mujib Dam, aim to enhance renewable energy utilization. Additionally, electrical interconnections with Egypt, Palestine, Iraq, and nearing completion agreements with Saudi Arabia will bolster Jordan's energy infrastructure.
