Lhyfe, a leading green hydrogen producer, has announced its collaboration with the Hyliko refuelling station to power the first centre of excellence for hydrogen trucks in France. The centre, located in Villabé (Essonne) near Paris, is a pivotal development in the decarbonisation of heavy goods vehicle transportation. It features a green hydrogen refuelling station with rapid refuelling capabilities and a maintenance center specifically designed for hydrogen-powered HGVs. The site aims to facilitate quick refuelling for HGVs, utilizing green hydrogen produced by Lhyfe. This initiative follows the successful operation of the first retrofitted hydrogen trucks by Hyliko for prominent haulage operators such as Point P, Berto Group, Labatut LVI, Bert&You, and Toyota. Lhyfe's production of green and renewable hydrogen through water electrolysis powered by renewable energy showcases a sustainable approach for hydrogen mobility. The CEO of Lhyfe, Matthieu Guesné, emphasized the importance of the HGV fuel chain in decarbonisation and expressed pride in contributing to France's first hydrogen truck excellence center, marking a significant advancement in hydrogen mobility and decarbonisation efforts.
