Notably, the former president's advisor, James Mnyupe, played a significant role in promoting green hydrogen globally. Recently, the Namibian government, through the SDG Namibia One fund, secured a 24% stake in Hydrogen Energy, showcasing a substantial financial commitment to the project's development. This move underlines the government's dedication to renewable energy initiatives and the potential economic benefits they could bring to the country.
