PLN's President Director, Darmawan Prasodjo, emphasized the company's commitment to developing hydrogen as a key pillar in achieving Net Zero Emissions (NZE) by 2060. The company has successfully built 22 Green Hydrogen Plants (GHPs) that produce 203 tons/year of green hydrogen, with a portion allocated for operational use and supporting other needs like hydrogen vehicles. PLN's Director of Generation Management highlighted the utilization of renewable energy sources in the production process, positioning hydrogen as the energy of the future. Additionally, PLN inaugurated Indonesia's first Hydrogen Refueling Station in Jakarta to promote hydrogen vehicle adoption. Collaboration with various stakeholders and support from the government, as seen in the National Hydrogen Strategy, are key in advancing Indonesia's sustainable energy goals.
