Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to embark on a two-day tour to Andhra Pradesh and Odisha on 8th and 9th January 2025, dedicating, inaugurating, and laying the foundation stone for projects worth over Rs. 2 Lakh Crore. In Andhra Pradesh, PM Modi will lay the foundation stone for the NTPC Green Energy Limited Green Hydrogen Hub Project at Pudimadaka near Visakhapatnam, marking the country's first Green Hydrogen Hub under the National Green Hydrogen Mission. This project, with an investment of around ₹1,85,000 Crore, will significantly contribute to India's target of 500 GW non-fossil energy capacity by 2030. Additionally, various railway and road projects will be inaugurated to enhance connectivity and regional growth. The Bulk Drug Park and Krishnapatnam Industrial Area are also on the agenda to stimulate job creation and economic development. In Odisha, PM Modi will inaugurate the 18th Pravasi Bhartiya Divas convention, focusing on the diaspora's contribution to a developed India. The event aims to engage with the Indian diaspora and promote interaction among its members, with a special Pravasi Bharatiya Express tour planned to showcase key tourist and religious destinations in India.
