Viktor Allgurén, the Port of Gothenburg's Head of Innovation, highlighted the station's significance due to the high volume of trucks and the need to refuel work machinery in the area. With the station situated near Gate 6 of the Gothenburg RoRo Terminal, it leverages a heavily traversed route, witnessing around 400,000 heavy vehicle passes annually.
