The Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Guideline for green hydrogen projects and the South African Green Hydrogen Potential Atlas are positioned to eliminate regulatory uncertainties, attract investments, and expedite South Africa's transition to a green hydrogen-based economy. These mechanisms, developed with partners like GIZ, CSIR, and GFA Consulting Group, are set to offer vital guidance for the responsible and sustainable growth of green hydrogen.
