Sunfire, a global electrolysis company, and P2X Solutions, a Finnish green hydrogen and Power-to-X technology pioneer, are celebrating the commissioning of Finland's first industrial plant for green hydrogen production in Harjavalta. The plant's capacity is 20 MW and utilizes Sunfire's proven pressurized alkaline technology. The CEO of Sunfire, Nils Aldag, emphasizes the significance of this project in Europe and praises the team for their achievement in advancing Finland's green hydrogen market. This milestone further cements Finland's role in the green energy transition. Another Finnish project developer, Ren-Gas, has also chosen Sunfire's technology for a 50 MW plant in Tampere, highlighting the growing interest in green hydrogen production in the country. Finland's ambitious goal is to produce a significant portion of the EU's hydrogen by 2030, positioning itself as a key player in the European market for sustainable energy solutions.
