Sungrow Hydrogen has entered into a supply agreement with ACME Group to provide water electrolysis hydrogen production equipment for a 320 MW green ammonia project in Oman. The collaboration signifies the beginning of their partnership in the Middle East. Under the agreement, Sungrow Hydrogen will deliver multiple sets of ALK hydrogen production equipment and flexible solutions for the project, which is a key component of ACME's green energy strategy in the region. The project, set to commence operations in 2026, aims to produce 300 tons per day of green ammonia and enhance Oman's position in the global green hydrogen industry. Sungrow Hydrogen's standing in the industry has been reinforced by receiving certifications for its electrolyser products, operating a large-scale Water Electrolysis Hydrogen Production Empirical Platform, and increasing its production capacity to 3 GW. The company's commitment to innovation and efficiency is evident in the recent operationalization of its automated assembly line for ALK electrolysers, which is expected to boost production by 60%. Sungrow Hydrogen's future plans involve further collaboration with partners worldwide to drive the development of green hydrogen projects and elevate the global green hydrogen sector.
