Axpo Nordic has recently entered into a power purchase agreement with Stegra to provide 2.25 terawatt hours of renewable electricity to Stegra's green hydrogen, iron, and steel production facility in Boden, northern Sweden. The facility, currently under construction and scheduled to start operations in 2027, aims to be a key player in Sweden's green industrial transformation by producing green hydrogen, iron, and steel to support the decarbonization of heavy industry. This partnership marks a significant milestone for both companies, paving the way for a long-term collaboration.
