This innovative move was supported by a $10M funding injection led by Hyperwise Ventures to further research, development, and expansion globally. ECL's data centers are designed to cater to the high computational requirements of AI workloads, offering a Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) of 1.1 and high-density deployments. The facilities are optimized to deliver AI applications efficiently, with a focus on off-grid operation, scalability, and rapid deployment within 12 months. Cato Digital, a sustainable cloud provider, became ECL's first tenant, utilizing NVIDIA DGX hardware for AI tasks and supporting the iMasons Climate Accord.
