The Environmental Protection Department (EPD) of Hong Kong has partnered with China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation (Sinopec Corp.) to advance the hydrogen energy industry in the region. Through a memorandum of understanding (MoU), both entities will collaborate on developing and applying hydrogen energy. Sinopec Corp. will establish a green hydrogen production facility for demonstration at a restored landfill, supplying hydrogen to support various local applications.
