Vossloh Rolling Stock is set to showcase its latest innovations at the InnoTrans 2024 exhibition, including the Modula BFC shunting locomotive powered by a battery-hydrogen fuel cell hybrid. This locomotive is designed for deployment at the Duisburg Gateway Terminal, offering sustainable and eco-friendly operations. Another highlight is the battery-powered Modula EBB loco, which has been undergoing approval testing since April, demonstrating Vossloh's commitment to green technologies in the railway sector. Additionally, the DE18 SmartHybrid locomotive will be featured, capable of running on hydro-treated vegetable oil fuel and boasting an underfloor battery for emission-free shunting for up to 1 hour.
