The company recently announced its participation in the 'Hydrogen Days 2025' international conference held in Prague, Czech Republic, to showcase its ongoing pink hydrogen demonstration project. The project aims to establish a 10-megawatt pink hydrogen production facility by 2028 in Ulju-gun, Ulsan, with an investment of 82.9 billion won. KHNP's initiative is to leverage surplus power from nuclear plants to produce clean hydrogen, contributing to the global energy transition. The company plans to supply clean hydrogen to industrial complexes and set its sights on entering the European hydrogen market. Through collaborations with entities like the Czech Hydrogen Association, KHNP seeks to advance pink hydrogen production technology and explore business opportunities in sustainable energy sectors.
