Solaris, a leading bus manufacturer, has signed a contract with REVG Kerpen, a public transport operator in Germany, to supply 26 hydrogen buses. These Solaris Urbino 12 hydrogen vehicles will be equipped with 70 kW hydrogen fuel cells and central electric motors. The first two buses have been delivered to Kerpen, with the remaining units scheduled for delivery in 2025. These buses will also feature Solaris High Power batteries to support fuel cell operation during peak demand.
