The visit included a tour of the facility's hydrogen value chain and discussions on collaboration opportunities to bolster Sarawak's hydrogen ecosystem. The focus was on advancing cleaner energy solutions and the energy transition in the region. Mitsubishi Power also supplied a hydrogen-ready gas turbine for the Miri CCGT Power Plant in support of Sarawak's energy development. The discussions highlighted the commitment to drive sustainable growth by leveraging hydrogen technologies. The Takasago Hydrogen Park, established in 2022, plays a crucial role in verifying hydrogen technologies and supporting research and development in the field. The validation of hydrogen firing equipment at the T-Point 2 combined cycle power plant validation facility demonstrates the long-term testing of new technologies.
