Japanese technology company Asahi Kasei and Italian multinational corporation De Nora have joined forces through a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to collaborate on the development of small-scale pressurized alkaline water electrolyzers for green hydrogen production. De Nora, known for its expertise in electrode catalysts and electrolyzers, aims to combine its knowledge with Asahi Kasei's extensive experience in chlor-alkali electrolyzers to establish a close cooperation framework. This partnership aligns with Asahi Kasei's strategy to provide holistic electrolysis solutions, including technological development, supply chain establishment, and operational support systems. Both companies are optimistic that their collaboration will not only simplify the adoption of water electrolysis technology but also contribute to the advancement of the hydrogen market and sustainable energy solutions globally.
