Green Hydrogen Collaboration in Germany: TES and ZEG's Sustainable Partnership
Key Ideas
  • TES and ZEG are collaborating to explore green hydrogen production opportunities in Germany, focusing on sustainable energy solutions with carbon capture.
  • ZEG will conduct a feasibility study to evaluate the implementation of their green hydrogen technology, potentially leading to large-scale deployment.
  • The partnership aims to advance Germany's clean energy initiatives, reduce carbon emissions, and promote a hydrogen-based economy.
  • TES' mission of providing accessible green energy aligns with integrating ZEG's innovative technology for decentralized production and CO2 capture.
Tree Energy Solutions (TES) and ZEG Power (ZEG) have signed a Letter of Intent to collaborate on exploring green hydrogen production opportunities in Germany. The partnership aims to accelerate the shift towards a sustainable energy future by integrating ZEG's green hydrogen production technology with carbon capture to reduce carbon emissions while producing clean energy. TES has commissioned ZEG to conduct a feasibility study to assess the technical, economic, and environmental viability of implementing the technology, potentially leading to an initial demonstration plant and large-scale deployment. The study, set to begin in September 2024, could mark a significant step towards a hydrogen-based economy in Germany. If successful, this project could advance the country's clean energy initiatives by providing a scalable solution for green hydrogen production. Jens Schmidt, CTO of TES, highlighted the alignment of the partnership with TES' mission to make green energy accessible to all. The collaboration aims to advance decentralized green hydrogen production from e-NG while capturing CO2, leveraging existing infrastructure for sustainable energy solutions. Arild Selvig, CEO of ZEG, expressed excitement about the potential of their technology to cut carbon emissions and reduce costs, contributing to a more sustainable energy mix. The partnership underscores a commitment to fostering a sustainable and environmentally responsible energy future. TES, a global green energy company, is dedicated to producing e-NG as a sustainable alternative to natural gas derived from green hydrogen. Through solar and wind energy, TES generates green hydrogen that is combined with climate-neutral CO2 to produce e-NG, a transportable energy source for various industries. With a focus on driving the adoption of green molecules worldwide, TES aims to contribute to a greener and climate-friendly energy landscape.
