Harnyss' Oasis platform offers long-duration backup power and the ability to operate off-grid, leveraging clean hydrogen produced from water through electrolyzers powered by renewable sources like solar and wind energy. The collaborative project, which involves partners like Emtel Energy USA and Timberline Renewable Solutions, aims to enhance energy sustainability within the Native American community. Harnyss' Oasis microgrid-energy storage solution, introduced in 2024, is packaged in containers and supports off-grid charging, catering to the unique needs of remote regions. The company has garnered initial equity investment from Riverbend Energy Group, a Houston-based firm with a focus on energy transition technologies like hydrogen and microgrids. The Guidiville tribe, a federally recognized Pomo tribe situated in Mendocino County, received its federal recognition in 1992 and has headquarters in the Ukiah Valley. The collaboration between Harnyss and the tribe signifies a positive step towards fostering sustainable energy practices and enhancing energy independence within tribal communities.
