Hystar AS, a key player in electrolyzer technology, has recently expanded its operations into Finland through a partnership with Fortum, a Finnish energy company. The agreement entails Hystar supplying a 0.75 MW electrolyzer for Fortum's upcoming hydrogen pilot plant in Källa, located east of Helsinki. This plant, set to commence operations by late 2025, will utilize electricity to produce hydrogen via electrolysis, with plans to supply the hydrogen to industrial clients through a dedicated filling station. The CEO of Hystar, Fredrik Mowill, expressed enthusiasm about collaborating with Fortum on this project, highlighting the company's commitment to global expansion and the successful deployment of their electrolyzer systems.
