Graphitic Energy, formerly C-Zero, has inaugurated its first large-scale pilot plant at the Southwest Research Institute in San Antonio, Texas. The plant employs innovative methane pyrolysis technology to convert natural gas into hydrogen and solid carbon. With the capacity to generate several hundred kilograms of hydrogen and 1,000 kilograms of solid carbon daily, the facility will operate continuously until the end of 2025.
