Ionomr Innovations Inc. has expanded its operations by inaugurating a new development and low-volume manufacturing facility in Charlestown, Massachusetts. The facility in Hood Park in metro Boston aims to bolster the production capacity of Hydrocarbon PFAS-free Ion Exchange Materials essential for advanced electrochemistry solutions crucial for decarbonizing the planet. The company’s CEO, Bill Haberlin, highlighted how this expansion is pivotal in enabling the manufacturing of sustainable products that drive towards Net Zero emissions, offering innovative solutions to global OEM partners. The facility, spanning over 22,000 square feet, is equipped with cutting-edge technology to support membrane production, fuel cell testing, and low-cost hydrogen production. It is projected to create more than 40 new jobs in the coming years.
