NEXTCHEM's subsidiary, KT Tech, has secured an agreement with Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Joint Stock Company (BSR) to provide licensing and a Process Design Package (PDP) for a new hydrogen production unit as part of the Dung Quat Refinery's upgrading and expansion project in Vietnam. The new unit will have a capacity of 22,676 cubic meters per hour, utilizing the proprietary NX Reform™ hydrogen technology. This technology aims at cost-effective hydrogen production while also offering the potential to reduce the carbon footprint through CO2 capture technology. KT Tech's solution is based on proven steam methane reforming methods, ensuring high operational efficiency. Once the project moves to the construction phase, KT Tech will supply the proprietary steam methane reforming equipment.
