Quest One, an electrolyzer manufacturer, is building a demonstration plant for its Modular Hydrogen Platform (MHP) PEM electrolyzer in Augsburg, Germany. The plant, located at the Turbocharger Performance Center (TPC) on the MAN Energy Solutions site, will generate valuable data for optimizing industrial-scale electrolyzers. It aims to provide industry professionals with hands-on experience and insights into construction and operation. The joint project with MAN ES focuses on refining the scale of PEM electrolyzers to meet the growing demand for green hydrogen. The MHP, a crucial element in decarbonizing the industrial sector, can adapt to increasing hydrogen demands. Government funding through the PEP.IN program supports the project, aiming to make green hydrogen more competitive and affordable. Quest One and MAN ES are dedicated to accelerating the transition to a sustainable hydrogen economy through technological advancements and collaboration.
