Waaree Group, a prominent PV module manufacturer in India, has commenced the construction of an alkaline electrolyzer plant in Valsad, Gujarat. With an initial production capacity of 300 MW, the facility is designed to cater to industries like steel, refining, transportation, and power generation as they transition towards decarbonized practices. The electrolysers produced at the plant are aimed at enabling large-scale green hydrogen production, boasting high efficiency, reliability, and durability while consuming minimal power and requiring low maintenance.
