DCM Shriram Ltd has inaugurated a cutting-edge Hydrogen Peroxide plant with a capacity of 52,500 TPA at its Chemical complex in Jhagadia, Bharuch District, Gujarat. The commissioning of the plant occurred on August 19, 2024. This new addition to their chemicals business will serve as a downstream product to the Hydrogen manufactured on-site. Hydrogen Peroxide is a versatile chemical with applications spanning across industries such as bleaching, water and waste water treatment, chemical synthesis, food processing, mining, metallurgy, and environmental uses. DCM Shriram operates in diverse sectors including Agri-Rural Business (Urea, Sugar, Ethanol, Farm Solutions), Chlor-Vinyl Business (Caustic Soda, Chlorine, Aluminum Chloride, PVC Resins, PVC Compounds), Power, Cement, and value-added businesses like Fenesta Building Systems which produces UPVC and Aluminium products.
